The program will feature internationally renowned speakers and will contain a doctoral colloquium,routine sessions, a special luncheon lecture by an executive from a well-known Japanese company, and an International Symposium on "The Response to IFRS of Asian Countries."
Paper Submission
All submitted papers must be:
- original and should not have been previously accepted for publication in a journal;
- written in English with a maximum of 30 double-spaced pages, including an abstract, references, tables, figures, or charts;
- in Microsoft Word for Windows format using Arial 11 point font (Windows 95 or higher is the preferred version).
Abstracts without the completed version will not be accepted. Papers for the presentation at the conference will be selected through double blind review process. Please ensure that the authors' names do not appear in the submitted paper. Papers must be submitted via conference website or by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. At least one author for each accepted paper must register for the conference by the 15 September 2012, in order for the paper to be included in the program and the conference proceedings.

Conference Venue
The conference will be held in the Clock Tower Centennial Hall and the building of the Graduate School of Economics, both located inside the Main Campus of Kyoto University.
