Call for Papers

The Asian Academic Accounting Association (FourA), in collaboration with Saint Francis University, Hong Kong, invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to submit papers for presentation at the 23rd Asian Academic Accounting Association Annual Conference.

This annual conference provides a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas, dissemination of research findings, and scholarly networking among academics and professionals in accounting and related disciplines.

Conference Theme

Accounting at the Crossroads of Technology, Sustainability, and Global Governance

The conference explores the evolving role of accounting in an era shaped by rapid technological advancement, sustainability imperatives, and global governance challenges. Contributions are welcome that examine how accounting research and practice respond to these transformative developments and shape future professional and policy landscapes.

Interdisciplinary and emerging research aligned with the conference theme is also strongly encouraged.

Submission Guidelines

- At the time of submission, the paper must not have been accepted for publication in a journal
- Papers must conform to a standard format set in the MS Word Template, which can be downloaded HERE

Papers must be submitted online through our OpenConf Peer Review and Conference Management System

The paper must be in English and include an abstract, main text, references, tables, and figures
- Abstracts without the completed paper will NOT be accepted
- Papers will be selected through a double-blind review process. Please ensure that the authors' names do not appear in the first submission.
- At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference by 15 October 2026, in order for the paper to be included in the program and the conference proceedings
- A conference registrant can only present one paper at the conference

Publication

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings (ISSN: 9-772460-509010). The proceedings will be available in the FourA Digital Library, which can be accessed online.
